Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness & Meditation
Hypnotherapy Mindfulness and Meditation at Live Life Happy Therapy
When I first started my private practice, hypnotherapy was my main focus. Over time, I’ve expanded my approach to include mindfulness and meditation, which support both my counselling and psychotherapy work.
How Hypnotherapy and Meditation Work Together
Both hypnotherapy and meditation involve states of heightened awareness. In these states, your mind becomes more open to making positive changes. Through hypnotherapy, we work to uncover and shift underlying thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. At the same time, mindfulness and meditation help bring your attention to the present moment, reducing the influence of negative thinking and emotional overwhelm.
The Benefits of Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness
This combined approach can be highly effective for managing mental and physical health. Research shows that hypnotherapy is useful for addressing a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), insomnia, and more. It has also been shown to help with physical conditions like chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and headaches, where stress and psychological factors play a role.
Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), which incorporates meditation and breathing exercises, helps break negative thought patterns and keeps you grounded in the present. Practising mindfulness and meditation can lower stress, improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and support overall emotional well-being.
At Live Life Happy Therapy, I integrate hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and meditation to support and enhance my counselling and psychotherapy services. Whether we’re using hypnotherapy to address specific challenges or mindfulness to bring you back into the present moment, these techniques work alongside traditional talk therapy. Together, they provide a comprehensive approach to help you feel more balanced, present, and in control of your life.
